Understanding the treatment
What is Wrinkle softening?
Wrinkle softening is a safe, non-surgical procedure that uses botulinum toxin to temporarily relax specific facial muscles. This reduces the appearance of lines caused by repetitive movement, such as frowning or squinting. Common treatment areas include the forehead, glabella and around the eyes. In the hands of a skilled medical practitioner, the results are smooth and natural-looking, without affecting your ability to express yourself.

How does it work?
Using a very fine needle, botulinum toxin is injected into carefully chosen facial muscles to reduce movement in the area. As the muscle relaxes, the overlying skin becomes smoother. The procedure is quick and typically well tolerated, with no downtime required. Results begin to appear within a few days and reach full effect in around two weeks. The effects gradually wear off over three to four months.
