What is Microneedling?
The DermaPen device creates thousands of controlled little micro-traumas to the skin, to initiate the skins natural healing response. This includes the release of serum growth factors which stimulates the breakdown of old fibrous collagen and encourage the production of new collagen and elastin development which in turn supports skin rejuvenation and promote skin tightening and remodelling.

How does it work?
DermaPen uses a unique vertical penetration to insert the fine needles into the epidermis which produces a smoother, more comfortable treatment with less surface trauma to the skin. Its unique electronic mechanism also allows the practitioner to control the depth and intensity to tailor the treatment for the individual needs of the client. The automatic vibrating function increases the effectiveness of treatment by enhancing absorption of the serum used during the treatment which contains hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins and peptides, further increasing collagen and elastin production for improved rejuvenation results.
